Cairnbaan is a Neolithic rock art site located in Argyllshire, Scotland, comprising two panels of carved cup-and-ring markings situated approximately 230 metres north and 215 metres north-north-east of Cairnbaan Hotel. The carvings represent an important example of prehistoric rock art from the Neolithic to Early Bronze Age period, characteristic of the distinctive artistic traditions of Atlantic Scotland. The motifs consist of circular cups with concentric rings, a widespread symbolic form found across Britain and Ireland during the later prehistoric period. These carvings demonstrate the cultural and possibly ritual significance of this landscape to early farming communities in the Argyll region during the third and second millennia before the present.
