Cardon Fort is an Iron Age fortified settlement located in Peeblesshire in the Scottish Borders. The site comprises a hilltop fort with defensive earthworks characteristic of Iron Age construction in southern Scotland, dating to the later prehistoric period before the Roman conquest of Britain. The fort's strategic position reflects the settlement patterns of the indigenous populations of this region during the Iron Age, when such defended sites served as centres of control and habitation.
