Chichele College is a late medieval ecclesiastical foundation established at Higham Ferrers in Northamptonshire during the fifteenth century. The college was endowed by Henry Chichele, Archbishop of Canterbury, who founded it in 1422 as a collegiate church with associated domestic buildings to serve the local community. The surviving remains comprise stone-built structures characteristic of the period, including elements of the college buildings and the associated church. The site represents an important example of late medieval collegiate provision in the East Midlands and reflects the architectural and religious patronage typical of the early fifteenth century.
