Clanghie Point fort is an Iron Age defensive structure located in Wigtownshire, southwestern Scotland. The fort occupies a coastal promontory position approximately two hundred metres east of Clanghie Point itself, commanding views of the surrounding landscape and sea approaches. As an Iron Age fort, it represents the military and settlement architecture characteristic of the period between roughly 800 BC and the Roman occupation of southern Scotland, when such fortified sites served as centres of power and control for local communities. The site is recorded within the Historic Environment Record under the reference SM4845 maintained by Historic Environment Scotland.
