Cup marked rocks and cairnfield at Bracken Heads, 380m north east of Folly Head, is an ancient monument comprising a concentration of rock carvings and burial cairns located in County Durham. The site dates to the Bronze Age and represents an important example of prehistoric funerary and ritual activity in the upland regions of northern England. The cup marks, which consist of small cupule depressions pecked into rock surfaces, are characteristic of Bronze Age rock art found across Britain, whilst the associated cairns form part of the extensive cairnfield systems that dot the Pennine uplands.
