Garlies Castle is a tower house situated in Kirkcudbrightshire, in the south-west of Scotland. The castle dates from the late medieval period and stands as an example of the defensive domestic architecture characteristic of the Scottish borders and south-western regions during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
