Holywood Priory is a medieval Benedictine monastic foundation located in North Down, County Down, Northern Ireland. The priory was established in the twelfth century, traditionally attributed to Benedictine monks, and functioned as an important ecclesiastical site throughout the medieval period. The surviving remains comprise substantial stone structures characteristic of monastic architecture, including elements of the priory church and associated buildings arranged within the monastic precinct. The site has been subject to archaeological investigation and remains a significant example of medieval monastic settlement in Ulster, documented in the historical record under various Latin forms of its name including Haliwode and Sanctum Boscus.
