Kirktonhill Fort is an Iron Age fortification located approximately 400 metres west-south-west of Kirktonhill in Berwickshire, Scotland. The site comprises a univallate or possibly bivallate fort, typical of Iron Age defensive settlements in the Scottish Borders region, dating to the pre-Roman Iron Age period. The fort's ramparts and ditches represent the remains of a substantial enclosed settlement, reflecting the settlement patterns and territorial organisation of Iron Age communities in southeast Scotland. Such forts served both defensive and administrative functions within their local societies during the centuries before Roman military campaigns in the region.
