Liberton Battery is an anti-aircraft battery located approximately 100 metres east of Liberton Kennels in Midlothian, Scotland. The site dates to the Second World War period, when such installations were constructed throughout Britain to defend against aerial attack. The battery would have been equipped with anti-aircraft guns and associated defensive structures typical of the era's air defence infrastructure. Like many similar wartime installations, it represents the extensive fortification of the Scottish landscape during the 1939-1945 conflict.
