Menzion Farm, Giant's Stone, cairn and standing stones is a Bronze Age monument complex situated on high ground in Peeblesshire, three-fifths of a kilometre north-east of Menzion Farm. The site comprises a prominent standing stone, known locally as the Giant's Stone, together with an associated cairn and additional stone settings. These structures rest upon bedrock of the Gala Group, a formation of hard wacke stone laid down during the Telychian period of the Ordovician, which provides the underlying geology of this part of the Borders uplands.
The Bronze Age peoples who erected these monuments exploited the natural resources of the surrounding landscape, including the local stone. The standing stone and cairn would have served significant ceremonial, ritual or commemorative functions within their communities. The survival of multiple stones at this location suggests a site of particular importance within the Bronze Age settlement pattern of the region.
