Menzion Farmhouse is a Bronze Age site comprising two enclosed cremation cemeteries located four hundred metres north-north-west of the farmhouse in Peeblesshire, Scottish Borders. The monuments occupy ground underlain by Gala Group wacke bedrock of Telychian age, typical of the upland terrain in this region. The twin enclosures represent a significant funerary landscape from the Bronze Age, when communities in the Scottish Borders practised cremation burial within defined ceremonial spaces.
The enclosed cemeteries reflect practices common in Bronze Age Scotland, where the dead were cremated and their remains deposited within bounded ritual areas.
