Old Rookhope ore hearth lead smeltmill is a post-medieval industrial monument located in the Pennine lead mining district of Durham. The site comprises the remains of a lead smelting hearth dating from the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries, when intensive ore processing was undertaken in this region.
