Park fort is an Iron Age fortified settlement located approximately 800 metres south-east of Park in East Lothian, Scotland. The site comprises a defended enclosure typical of Iron Age settlement patterns in south-eastern Scotland, representing the period of prehistoric fortification that characterised the region during the first millennium before Christ. The fort's physical remains indicate construction through the use of earthwork defences, which would have served both practical and symbolic functions within the contemporary settlement hierarchy. Such fortified sites provide evidence for Iron Age social organisation and territorial control in the Lothian region during a period preceding Roman contact with northern Britain.
