Plean Farm ring ditch, located 800 metres south-east of Plean Farm in Stirlingshire, is an ancient ring ditch of Bronze Age date. The monument consists of a circular or near-circular ditch which would originally have enclosed a burial mound or domestic structure, characteristic of prehistoric settlement and funerary practices in central Scotland. Ring ditches of this period typically date between approximately 2000 and 1000 BC and represent an important category of archaeological evidence for Bronze Age land use and social organisation.
