Prehistoric cairnfield, associated field system and hut circle east of Water Crag is a Bronze Age monument complex located in Cumberland, England. The site comprises a cairnfield with scattered burial cairns, an organised field system of stone boundaries, and at least one hut circle, elements typical of Bronze Age settlement and land organisation in the upland regions of northern England. The cairnfield and field system demonstrate the pattern of pastoral agriculture and land division practised during the Bronze Age, whilst the hut circle provides evidence of contemporary domestic occupation. The monument survives as surface features and represents an important archaeological record of Bronze Age settlement practices in the English Lake District region.
