Raehills scooped settlement is an Iron Age or early medieval earthwork located approximately 650 metres north-east of Raehills in Dumfriesshire, southern Scotland. The site consists of a series of shallow depressions or scooped features cut into the hillside, characteristic of settlement activity during the later prehistoric or early historic period. Such scooped settlements represent domestic occupation sites where natural or artificial hollows were utilised for structures, storage, or domestic activities.
