Remains of Blast Furnaces at Banwen is a post-medieval industrial monument consisting of the structural remains of iron-smelting furnaces located in the Neath Valley, Glamorgan, Wales. The site represents the expansion of iron production in South Wales during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, when the region became a major centre of iron manufacturing driven by local coal and ironstone deposits. The surviving furnace structures demonstrate the technological development of blast furnace design during the Industrial Revolution period. The monument is recorded under Cadw's Scheduled Ancient Monument designation to preserve evidence of this significant phase of Welsh industrial heritage.
