Standingstones is a Bronze Age standing stone located in Kincardineshire, Scotland, situated approximately 275 metres south-east of the settlement from which it takes its name. The monument stands upon bedrock of the Argyll Group, a Neoproterozoic sequence of metamorphic rocks comprising psammite, semipelite and pelite, which form the underlying geology of this part of the Mearns landscape.
