Stoneyburn Platform Settlement and Field System is a Post-Medieval agricultural settlement located approximately 700 metres west-south-west of Stoneyburn in Lanarkshire, Scotland. The site comprises a platform settlement with associated field systems that reflect the organisation of rural land use and habitation during the Post-Medieval period. The earthwork remains preserve evidence of domestic occupation and the agricultural practices that sustained communities in this region during the early modern era. Such settlement sites are valuable for understanding the transition from medieval to early modern settlement patterns and the development of the Scottish lowland landscape.
