The King's Cairn is a Neolithic chambered cairn located west of the Water of Deugh in Kirkcudbrightshire, south-western Scotland. The monument comprises a substantial mound of stones with an internal burial chamber, characteristic of the megalithic traditions of the fourth and third millennia BC in Scotland. As a chambered cairn, it would have served as a communal burial place for a Neolithic community, with the chamber constructed from stone slabs to contain human remains alongside grave goods.
