Tregantle Fort is a nineteenth-century coastal artillery fort located on the Cornish coast near Polperro. Constructed in the 1860s as part of Britain's defensive modernisation programme, the fort exemplifies Victorian military engineering with its substantial masonry construction and gun emplacements designed to defend against naval threats.
