Ulbster School is a broch situated approximately 125 metres south of the schoolhouse in Caithness, northern Scotland, dating to the Iron Age. The monument represents one of Scotland's distinctive circular stone tower structures characteristic of the period between roughly 100 BC and AD 100. Like other brochs of this era, it would have served defensive or prestige functions within Iron Age settlement patterns in the far north.
