This monument comprises an unenclosed stone hut circle settlement, cairn fields and a rectangular enclosure located approximately one kilometre south-west of Debdon Whitefield in Northumberland. The site dates to the Bronze Age and Iron Age periods, representing a significant example of prehistoric settlement activity in the region. The stone hut circles indicate domestic occupation, whilst the cairn fields and rectangular enclosure reflect the landscape management and possible ritual or defensive functions characteristic of later prehistoric communities. The surviving earthworks and stone structures provide evidence of long-term habitation and land use patterns in the Northumberland uplands during antiquity.
