Upper Newby fort is a Iron Age hillfort located in Selkirkshire, in the Scottish Borders. The site occupies a commanding position approximately 320 metres south-south-east of Upper Newby farm, from which it derives its name. Like many hillforts of the Iron Age period in southern Scotland, it represents a significant centre of settlement and defence during the pre-Roman and Roman Iron Age. The fort's archaeological significance lies in its contribution to understanding the distribution and character of Iron Age fortified settlements across the eastern Borders region.
