Walton Priory is a site of a Benedictine priory located in Suffolk, England, founded in the eleventh century as a daughter house of the Benedictine monastery at Bury St Edmunds. The priory was established as a cell or small dependent community and operated throughout the medieval period until its dissolution during the Reformation in the sixteenth century. Little remains of the priory structures today, with the site now marked primarily by earthworks and archaeological deposits that preserve evidence of its former monastic occupation. The priory represents an important example of the network of dependent religious houses that characterised medieval Benedictine organisation in East Anglia.
