Windmill stump is a nineteenth-century windmill located in Ards, County Down, Northern Ireland. The structure survives today as a fragmentary remnant, preserving evidence of the industrial milling heritage that characterised the region during the nineteenth century. The stump represents the truncated remains of what was once a functional windmill, a building type commonly deployed across Ulster for grain milling and other industrial purposes.
