Biography
Brent Renaud was born in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1971 and worked as a journalist, documentary filmmaker, and photojournalist. He produced films with his brother Craig for outlets including HBO and Vice News, and contributed to The New York Times. According to Ukrainian officials, he was killed on March 13, 2022, by Russian soldiers while covering the Russian invasion of Ukraine in Irpin, near Kyiv.
