Biography

Eddie Eagan was born in Denver, Colorado on April 26, 1897. He won a gold medal as a light-heavyweight boxer at the 1920 Summer Olympics and a gold medal in four-man bobsled at the 1932 Winter Olympics. He remains the only athlete to have won gold medals at both the Summer and Winter Olympic games in different events. He died on June 14, 1967.
