Biography

Eugene Odum was born in Newport, New Hampshire in 1913 and worked as an ecologist, zoologist, mathematician, and naturalist. He held a position at the University of Georgia and, with his brother Howard T. Odum, authored Fundamentals of Ecology, published in 1953. The Odum School of Ecology was named after him. He died in 2002.
