The Battle

History & Significance

After the fall of his castles, Glyndwr reverts entirely to guerrilla warfare. His forces conduct raids from mountain bases in and around the Brecon Beacons, attacking English settlements and patrols in the southern Marches. English forces pursue but cannot fix or destroy his mobile bands. The revolt loses strategic coherence but retains nuisance value.
