History & Significance

The rebellion spread to King's Lynn and west Norfolk. Lynn's rebels controlled the town gates and sent representatives to the Mousehold Heath camp. The spread to this important port town threatened government control of sea communications with the continent. After Dussindale the Lynn rebels quickly submitted.
