Allt Ceann na Coille is a Bronze Age settlement comprising hut circles and associated field clearance cairns located in Naver Forest, Sutherland. The site consists of the remains of prehistoric dwellings arranged across the landscape alongside cairns that represent the clearance of stones from adjoining fields, a practice indicative of early agricultural activity. The hut circles and cairn field together demonstrate Bronze Age settlement patterns and land use in the far north of Scotland, reflecting the exploitation of moorland and forest margins during this period. The remains are scattered across difficult terrain and represent an important archaeological record of prehistoric Highland settlement and subsistence practices.
