Avondale House is a Post-Medieval palisaded enclosure situated approximately 630 metres south of Avondale House in Stirlingshire, Scotland. The site consists of a defensive earthwork of palisade type, characteristic of fortified domestic settlements of the Early Modern period in Scotland. Such enclosures typically enclosed residential and ancillary structures, providing protection for inhabitants and their property during the turbulent centuries following the medieval period.
