Balnacraig long cairn is a Neolithic monument located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, situated approximately 260 metres north-north-west of its documented reference point. The structure represents the characteristic funerary architecture of the Neolithic period in northern Britain, constructed as an elongated earthen and stone mound typical of the long cairn tradition. Long cairns of this type served as communal burial monuments and are among the earliest monumental structures in Scotland, dating to the early Neolithic period around 4000–3000 BCE.
