Dundreggan Farm motte is a Medieval motte-and-bailey earthwork located in Inverness-shire, Scotland. The motte itself, situated approximately 35 metres south-west of Dundreggan Farm, comprises an artificial mound typical of Norman and early Medieval defensive architecture, dating to the medieval period. Such mottes served as the focal points of feudal strongholds, with the raised earthen platform designed to support a timber or stone tower. The monument represents the dispersed pattern of medieval lordly residences established throughout the Scottish Highlands during the medieval centuries.
