Hamnavoe Broch is an Iron Age fortified roundhouse located approximately 150 metres east-north-east of Manic in Shetland, Scotland. The site represents the characteristic broch architecture of the northern Scottish Iron Age, typically dated to the later prehistoric period. Like other brochs in Shetland, the monument would have served as a defensible dwelling or focal point for a local community, demonstrating the settlement patterns and architectural sophistication of Iron Age society in these northern isles.
