Little Float Fort is an Iron Age fortified settlement located in Wigtownshire, south-west Scotland. The fort is situated approximately 630 metres south-west of Little Float and represents the type of defended domestic settlement characteristic of the later prehistoric period in south-western Scotland. Like other Iron Age forts in the region, it would have served both defensive and residential functions for its community, reflecting the social and political organisation of the period. The site is recorded in the Canmore database and forms part of the archaeological heritage of Wigtownshire's Iron Age landscape.
