Nisbet Fort is an Iron Age fort located approximately 740 metres south of Nisbet in Lanarkshire, Scotland. The site comprises a univallate or multivallate earthwork enclosure typical of Iron Age settlement patterns in southern Scotland, constructed with defensive ramparts and ditches. Dating to the Iron Age period, the fort represents the settlement and territorial strategies employed by indigenous communities in this region prior to the Roman advance northwards. The monument survives as an upstanding earthwork and remains a significant example of prehistoric fortified settlement in Lanarkshire.
