Shielhill pit alignments is a linear arrangement of prehistoric pits located two hundred metres northeast of Shielhill Farm in Angus, Scotland. The monument consists of a series of pits arranged in alignment, characteristic of features dating to the later prehistoric period, possibly Bronze Age or Iron Age in date. Such pit alignments remain poorly understood archaeologically, though they may have served territorial, ceremonial, or practical agricultural functions. The site is recorded within the Historic Environment Record and represents an important example of this enigmatic class of prehistoric monument in eastern Scotland.
