Slack's Tower is a late medieval tower situated in Roxburghshire, in the Scottish Borders. The structure dates to the fifteenth or sixteenth century and represents the defensive architecture characteristic of the border region during a period of continued Anglo-Scottish conflict and internal instability. The tower would have served as a fortified residence or stronghold for a local family, typical of the numerous such structures built throughout the Borders during this era. As a scheduled ancient monument under Historic Environment Scotland, it remains an important archaeological record of medieval border settlement and military architecture.
