Thomsonsfield Broch is an Iron Age fortified circular stone tower located in Caithness, Scotland, approximately 780 metres south-west of Brabstermire. The structure dates to the Iron Age period, when broch architecture flourished across northern Scotland, typically between the 1st century BC and 1st century AD. The broch represents the distinctive defensive architecture of its era, characterised by a hollow-walled circular design that would have provided both domestic and protective functions for its Iron Age inhabitants.
