Wood of Coldrain moated enclosure is a post-medieval defensive or residential earthwork located in Kinross-shire, Scotland. The monument consists of a moated enclosure positioned approximately 150 metres south-south-west of Wood of Coldrain itself. Dating to the post-medieval period, the site represents a form of settlement fortification common in lowland Scotland during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, when such moated sites often served as the residences of minor gentry or substantial landholders. The earthwork survives as an archaeological feature of significance to understanding the pattern of rural settlement and land use in this region during the early modern period.
