Hundreds of machines destroyed. Special Assize at Winchester tried 285 prisoners. Six hanged, 102 transported. Hampshire was one of the most severely prosecuted counties in the Swing Riots.

The Hampshire actions involved hundreds of separate incidents across the county through November and December 1830.
