History & Significance

The battle of Dussindale involved several distinct actions as Warwicks army advanced from Norwich to meet the rebel host. An initial cavalry probe was repulsed before a combined assault with German lansquenets and English horse broke the rebel formation. Kett fled; 3,000 rebels were killed.
