Antonine Wall, Callendar Park, Falkirk is a section of the turf-built Roman frontier constructed in the second century CE, specifically during the governorship of Antoninus Pius around 142 CE. The wall here survives as a substantial earthwork comprising a ditch and rampart, representing one of the more prominent upstanding remains of this northern frontier line that stretched across central Scotland from the Firth of Clyde to the Firth of Forth.
