Former Royal Naval Cordite Factory is a First World War munitions manufacturing facility located in Dorset. The factory was established to produce cordite, the smokeless propellant essential for naval artillery ammunition during the conflict. The site represents a significant example of early twentieth-century industrial archaeology and wartime production infrastructure. The remains of the factory buildings and associated structures document the scale and organisation of British military manufacturing during 1914–1918.
