Llantrisant Castle is a medieval fortification situated in the parish of Llantrisant in Glamorgan, South Wales. The castle dates to the Norman period, likely established in the twelfth century as part of the Anglo-Norman colonisation of Glamorgan. The surviving remains consist principally of a motte and bailey earthwork, with evidence of stone defences constructed during the medieval period. The site represents an important example of early Norman military settlement in the region, though substantial portions of the superstructure have been lost to time.
