Monkland Canal, Gartsherrie Branch, Summerlee is a section of industrial canal infrastructure dating from the early nineteenth century in Lanarkshire, Scotland. The branch formed part of the wider Monkland Canal system, which was developed to facilitate the transport of coal, ironstone, and other minerals from the Lanarkshire coalfields to industrial centres and markets.
