Quoy Anti-Aircraft Battery is a Second World War defensive installation located in Orkney, Scotland, situated approximately 220 metres west-southwest of a radar station. The battery formed part of the air defence network protecting Orkney during the German air campaign against the islands, which intensified following the Royal Navy's presence and strategic importance of the archipelago. The site comprises the physical remains typical of anti-aircraft gun positions from this period, reflecting the urgent militarisation of Orkney from 1940 onwards. Both the battery and its associated radar installation represent the integrated air defence strategy adopted by British forces to counter the Luftwaffe threat to northern maritime installations during the Second World War.
