Whinnyrig is a Post-Medieval enclosed settlement, droveway and field system located in Dumfriesshire, Scotland, situated approximately 130 metres east-north-east of the principal settlement. The site comprises evidence of planned agricultural organisation typical of the early modern period, including stock management infrastructure in the form of a droveway alongside associated field boundaries that reflect the pastoral economy of the region.
